Master of Science in Natural Science

 

At the completion of their MSNS program, candidates will:

  1. Demonstrate mastery of subject matter knowledge
  2. Demonstrate mastery of pedagogical content knowledge
  3. Demonstrate mastery of assessment of student learning
  4. Demonstrate the ability to establish a supportive learning environment that supports democratic principles in schooling
  5. Demonstrate an understanding and application of current research in learning and teaching in the STEM disciplines
  6. Demonstrate the ability to function as a reflective practitioner including the use of research to influence practice
