The Four-Year College/University Section of the National Association of Biology Teachers (NABT) would like your input in identifying the topics that should be covered in an introductory college biology course for biology majors. Since many biology students take this course sequence at two-year institutions we hope that you will assist us in identifying the topics that should be covered in these courses. As instructors of these courses are aware, there is insufficient time in a year long course sequence to cover the material in a manner that allows for student comprehension, retention, and reflection. NABT has begun an initiative to identify a set of topics that all biology students should master prior to entering higher level biology courses. Please help us in this endeavor by completing the following short survey. This vital survey should not take more than 10 minutes of your time. Please click on the link below to start the survey. Thank you for your time. Feel free to share this survey with your colleagues. http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/?p=WEB2297V8P3PEJ Posted on Wednesday, June 10, 2009
